# AI Prompt Library for a Manufacturer Sales Rep
## Use these ready-made prompts to turn our utility incentive data into a sales advantage, from prioritizing territories and estimating live deals to equipping distributors and tracking program changes.
This article will help sales reps use their AI tool, that is connected to UtilityGenius, best leverage rebates in their sales process. Reps can strategically prioritize territories by ranking rebates by product, comparing incentives across states, and spotting utilities with no rebate coverage. For live deals, the AI tool can identify a customer’s utility from their zip code, price out rebates with caps and eligibility rules, flag upsell incentives for controls, and surface stackable state and federal funding. It also supports distributor enablement through rebate cheat sheets, project list mapping, and alerts on recent program changes. Finally, the AI can generate deliverables like rebate heat maps, spreadsheets, and proposals with rebate estimates, though output quality varies by AI tool.

**Supporting live deals**

**Distributor enablement and staying current**
1. **Build a cheat sheet for a distributor.** “Build a one-page rebate cheat sheet for my distributor in Virginia covering LED high-bays, linear retrofit kits, and lighting controls: utility, program, rate per unit, and key requirements.”

4. **Watch a key utility.** “Has anything changed in \[Mass Save\]’s business rebate program in the last 90 days? Summarize what’s new and what it means for \[LED and VFD\] sales.”
**Creating actionable outputs**

- **Creating a rebate heat map.** “Generate a rebate heat map of the US showing where the available rebates are for \[Building Management Systems\].”
- **Produce a spreadsheet.** “Create a spreadsheet that shows all of the available rebates in the \[Northwest\] for \[chillers\].”
- **Add a rebate estimate into the proposal.** “Layer in available rebates into this proposal for \[Baltimore Gas & Electric\]”
